Śrut żeliwny balastowy nie jest wykorzystywany w procesach obróbki strumieniowo-ściernej, ale jako materiał pokrewny ze ścierniwami znajduje się w ofercie produktów Alumetal-Technik. Zadaniem jego jest przede wszystkim obciążenie, które stosuje się w celu stabilizacji lub osiągnięcia innych pożądanych parametrów.
Śrut żeliwny i jego cechy charakterystyczne
Do niedawna do obciążania pojazdów czy jednostek pływających wykonywano ołów. Śrut żeliwny jest też wykorzystywany w budownictwie. Dodawany do betonu pozwala tworzyć solidniejsze podstawy o większej masie.
